CINE 198 post-production workflow is a workshop that is designed for both beginning and intermediate editors. The workshop will focus primarily on Adobe Premiere and Davinci Resolve, but the examples discussed will apply to any editing software. We will explore non-linear editing with a focus on media management, organization and shot selection looking at workflow strategies across a variety of different project types and editing platforms. We will also explore best practices on annotating and marking your media and various ways to create and refine a timeline. The workflow techniques covered in this class are critical to editing and will prepare you with foundational editing skills for all of your production classes and for post-production work beyond the classroom.
