The Art of Producing Visiting Filmmaker Series Presents: Q&As with Producer Mollye Asher
Cinema Studies proudly welcomes Mollye Asher, producer of Swallow and Nomadland, as our 2021 Harlan J. Strauss Visiting Filmmaker. Nomadland is one of the most acclaimed films of 2020, winning Best Picture and Best Director at the 2021 Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards.
Students, faculty, staff and the community are invited to live, remote Q&As with Producer Mollye Asher who will discuss her films and share how a producer supports a director’s vision. Please join Mollye Asher and Cinema Studies on Wednesday, May 19th at 4pm (PDT) for a discussion on Swallow and on Wednesday, May 26th at 4pm (PDT) for a discussion on Nomadland.
The Q&As will be offered through a Zoom Webinar, and both Q&As will use the same Zoom link. When you join the Zoom webinar, you will be prompted to provide your name and email address. Once the webinar begins, you will not appear on screen but will have the opportunity to submit questions to the panelists in the "Q&A" box.
