Cinema Studies is pleased to welcome award–winning director Chloé Zhao as the 2018 visiting filmmaker in the annual “Harlan J. Strauss Visiting Filmmaker Endowment in Cinema Studies.”
Zhao will engage in a two-week university residency during spring term 2018 and will be involved in a variety of campus activities, including teaching workshops and mentoring students in the CINE 408 “Art of Directing” course, as well as participating in public conversations and hosting film screenings.
