La Serenata Feature Film Seeking Student PA Interns

LA SERENATA, a low-budget feature film, is seeking student interns during spring break 2024. The film is directed by Adelina Anthony with screenwriting by Ernesto Javier Martínez, PhD, associate professor and department head of Indigenous Race, and Ethnic Studies at the University of Oregon.

LA SERENATA is tentatively scheduled to film in Los Angeles on a 13-day shoot, starting spring break (March 22-31), with a possible third week of filming. The production is also happy to accept students just during the first week of production.

On-set Film Opportunities:

  • Costume Assistant intern
  • Swing Grip interns
  • Gaffer/Key interns
  • 2nd AD Interns
  • 2nd AC Interns

University of Oregon Cinema Studies majors must be registered for academic credit through CINE 404: Internship (1-3 credits available), as these positions are unpaid. However, there ARE grants and stipends available to help offset the costs. Students will not work more than 8 hours per day or more than 40 hours per week.
