Matt Piedmont, Director and Screenwriter

Matt Piedmont is an award winning writer and director. He won an Emmy for his writing during the six years he wrote for “Saturday Night Live”. The short film he wrote and directed, “Brick Novax’s Diary”, won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival for best short film, as well as winning the Ellen Award for best short film at the Aspen Film Fest. And he recently directed his first feature film, “Casa De Mi Padre”, starring Will Ferrell, Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal, which will be released in March of 2012,so look for it then. His next project is the feature “The Velvet Bull” which he wrote and will direct early next year.
