There will be snacks provided and free pizza from Sizzle Pie.
Dylan and his team will be discussing the ins and outs of filmmaking, how to pick and research a topic, and how to choose the right people to interview. Dylan hopes attendees will get inspired from listening to his personal journey in filmmaking and is offering students a virtual pilot program which allows them the opportunity to work on making a film with framework and support provided by him.

Salmon Panel
The workshop will include a 30 minute panel around environmental issues contrubuting to the decline of native salmon in the Pacific Northwest. A representative from Oregon Wild, the University of Oregon, and Mckenzie Watershed Council will be present. Panelists will share their understanding and the work they are doing around the decreasing salmon issue to give students an understanding of the many sides of a single issue.

Veratta Pegram-Floyd will also be joining the workshop to briefly talk about the University of Oregon cinema and journalism studies programs, speaking specifically on their film degrees and different scholarship options.
