Cinema Studies majors are encouraged to expand their community connections by joining student clubs like the University Film Organization, UO Womxn and Film and UO Presents; entering local and national film festivals and competitions; studying cinema in Ireland; obtaining internships and jobs; and gaining hands-on experience in a variety of paid student positions within the department.
