Cinema Studies invites the UO community to a talk with Chapman University Professor Nam Lee about Lee’s recently published book, The Films of Bong Joon Ho, as well as a discussion on the global success and reception of the director’s 2019 film, Parasite.

about NAM LEE

NAM LEENam Lee is Associate Professor of Film Studies at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, Chapman University. Formerly a film critic and journalist in Seoul, South Korea, she has published numerous film reviews, academic journal articles, and book chapters on Korean cinema. The Films of Bong Joon Ho (Rutgers University Press, 2020) is her first book.
