From July 13-16, regional filmmakers and musicians will compete to produce the best music video within 72 hours, incorporating a mandated creative element. Films submitted by deadline will be screened by a jury of media professionals and a public audience on July 22. The film selected “Jury Prize” winner will receive a $500 cash prize, and the film voted “Audience Award” winner at the screening event will also receive a $500 cash prize.

Completed projects returned between 6pm-8pm at The Barn Light (924 Willamette) on Sunday, July 16th, and meeting all specifications and guidelines, will be screened publicly at 7:30pm on Sunday, July 30th at Ragozzino Performance Hall on the LCC Campus.

Audience members at the screening event will be invited to vote for their favorite film and determine the 2017 “Audience Award” winner.

Both the Jury and Audience Award winners will be announced at the competition screening event and each awarded $500 cash prizes,. Additional prizes for excellence in specific categories will include an 8-hour recording studio session at Ninkasi Studios, a year of free movies at the Broadway Metro, and limited edition hand-pulled screen prints from Blunt Graffix.
