"UO Presents" holds film screenings during winter term

UO Presents offers films through a critical lens of film viewership and creation; it is our aim to deliver a varied selection of genres, directors, eras, subject matters, moments in film history, and world perspectives, with the purpose of connecting the film-enjoying community and increasing film literacy and understanding campus wide. 

Seats Available in Cinema Studies Winter Term '22 Courses

Space is still available in the following Winter Term 2022 Cinema Studies courses: CINE 198: Wrk Post-Production Workflow; CINE 270: Introduction to Narrative Cinema Production; CINE 320: Beginning Screenwriting; CINE 399: Sp St Middle Eastern Cinema; and CINE 410: Transnational Cinematography. For more information on these courses, please read the course descriptions below.

Study Filmmaking & Cinema Studies in Dublin, Ireland

The Cliffs of Mohr in Ireland

Summer 2022:  June 26 to July 29 
Open to all majors!

Taught by Cinema Studies Associate Professor Michael Aronson, this summer study abroad program is designed for students who want to immerse themselves in cinema studies in Ireland. Students in this 5-week program will get to work both critically and creatively, taking a course on contemporary Irish cinema and digital filmmaking.
