Your uoregon email is the official address for your interaction with UO faculty and staff. Receiving emails directly on your phone makes contact faster and more convenient!
Step-by-Step Directions:
- Tap the Settings icon
- Tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
- In the Accounts section, click "Add Account..."
- Tap "Other"
- Tap "Add Mail Account"
- Enter your name, UO email address and Duck ID password (the same password you would use for Blackboard or Webmail)
- Change the description if you wish
- Tap the "Next" button at the top right
- In the "Host Name" box enter "imap.uoregon.edu"
- In the "User Name" box enter your Duck ID
- In the Outgoing Mail Server section, in the "Host Name" box enter "smtp.uoregon.edu"
- In the "User Name" box enter your Duck ID
- In the "Password" box enter your Duck ID password
- If there are any buttons/options for SSL with IMAP or SMTP, then please make sure SSL is in the ON position
- Tap the "Next" button at the top right
- Mail will now verify your settings... please wait for it to finish.
- Tap the "Save" button at the top right.
