During the Undergraduate Research Symposium on May 23, students from all disciplines, majors, and colleges come together on campus to share the projects and interests they’re passionate about.

Students will present research, creative projects, data stories, works-in-progress, etc. in a variety of formats and media. We hope you’ll join us!

All remote presentation videos will be available on the Symposium YouTube channel as an ongoing digital exhibit of undergraduate research and creative work.

Types of Presentations
 

oral presentation
Oral Presentations
Presenters selecting oral presentation as their preferred format will be placed in a panel with three to five other presentations. Each presentation is 12 to 15 minutes, and each 90-minute session is assembled by academic discipline or interdisciplinary theme based on abstract submissions.
poster presentation
Poster Presentations
Research posters are a common method for presenting scholarly and creative work at academic conferences and symposia. They provide a visual representation of the research through visual and textual content, such as tables, graphs, images, and citations, to convey information succinctly and engagingly with the audience. 
data stories presentation
Works in Progress
research work in progress. Individuals can can choose to outline the inquiry, methodology, expected (or collected) data or process. Data is any gathered information used in the process of a research project. Presentations will be held in the Price Science Library's Vizlab.

Creative Works
Presenters may exhibit art and conduct live performances, including creative works of all media. Past presenters have read poetry, shown photography, exhibited sculptures, and performed choreography, among other media and genres. The symposium is eager to work with emerging creatives to showcase their work. tive Works.
