UO graduate Stephanie Drachkovitch, Executive Vice President of 44 Blue Productions spoke to students, staff and faculty about what it takes to make a living producing reality television on Friday, 11/16/2012 in the Cinema Studies lab. Over 70 people attended this engaging presentation about how to pitch a story to industry executives. Her new series Married to the Army: Alaska premiered on Sunday, 11/18/12 on the OWN network. Cinema Studies sponsors the ongoing Working Filmmaker Series to connect students with industry professionals throughout the school year. This series is made possible by the generous donation of Nancy and Dave Petrone.
