The 3rd annual UO Hip Hop jam is an event organized by the Hip Hop and the Politics of Race freshman interest group (FIG) to celebrate hip hop music and culture while bringing together campus and community artists. This year's lineup includes a range of artists that rap, produce beats, DJ, and dance; from students (Wynne, Capital T, and Sond3r) to Oregon artists (K.I. Design, Lisa Vasquez, and Durazzo). This year's show features a well-known, special secret guest performer. The University of Oregon Hip Hop Flock Rock, UO's b-boy/b-girl dance club, will also be doing a dance exhibition. The event will be hosted by local freestyle rap master, K.I. Design.

The UO Hip Hop Jam is a free, chem free, inclusive event open to anybody of all ages. The night will end with a 20-minute open freestyle MC cypher featuring the night's performers and open to skilled members in the audience. There will be some refreshments and pizza provided by Pegasus Pizza.
